Created in 2021, The Melbourne Bathroom was the first showroom installation at Schots Home Emporium’s Clifton Hill building to be conceived by an invited interior designer.

Inspired by Melbourne’s architectural heritage, the installation combined traditional detailing, restrained glamour and a dramatic yet controlled palette. Pieces from the Schots collection were layered with lighting by Robert Kitto, finishes from Porter’s Paints, tapware by Astra Walker and textiles from Sheridan to create a bathroom grounded in classical design principles and contemporary function.
